| A while ago I posted a few photos from an egg/teardrop shaped brick sewer near my home; we've finally seen the rest of it, and wow, it's a pretty incredible system. Rather than giving it a clever nickname, as us draining folks are prone to do, we're simply calling it the East Toronto system. Part of it was originally named the East Toronto and Midway Storm Sewer, and I believe it includes several buried creeks from the east end. This particular photo, taken near the intersection of Kingston Road and Dundas Street, would have been very close to the former Small's Pond as well. More in the coming days. |
